For chess players who want to actually improve

You don't have a bad game. You have one bad move you play over and over.

Connect your username. We find the pattern. You fix one thing.

Chess.com tells you your accuracy was 87 percent. Stockfish shows you the move you missed. Neither of them tells you that you blow this exact move every fourth time you play the Accelerated Dragon. We do.

We pull your last 50 Lichess or Chess.com games, run them through Claude, and email you the three mistakes you actually keep making. Specific squares. Specific openings. Specific tempo traps. Every Sunday.

"On moves 18 to 22 of the Accelerated Dragon, you blunder when Bc4 lands. You've done it 6 times this month." A sample finding from our analyzer

Your report is generating now.

It'll land in your inbox in about 60 seconds, from reports@chesspattern.app. Check spam if you don't see it within 2 minutes.

While you wait: the report will name three patterns. Most users find one of them immediately obvious in hindsight. That's not a bug. That's what fresh eyes see that you can't.

How it works
  1. Connect your account Lichess username or Chess.com username. We pull your games via the public API. No password. No OAuth.
  2. We find your patterns Not single blunders. Patterns. The move you keep playing wrong. The endgame you keep flagging in. The opening where you panic.
  3. You get a weekly report Three specific things to fix. Targeted to your openings, your rating, your style. Every Sunday morning.

Questions
How is this different from Chess.com Game Review or Lichess Insights?

Game Review tells you the eval drop in one game. Insights gives you per-opening stats. Neither names the pattern across games. We look at 30-50 of your games at once and say: "you keep doing X." That's the part that's missing.

Do you need my password?

No. Lichess and Chess.com both expose your public games. We hit those APIs with just your username.

What if my patterns change as I improve?

That's the point of the weekly cadence. Your old patterns disappear, new ones surface. The report stays current.

Is the analysis just Stockfish?

Stockfish finds the mistakes per game. Claude reads 30-50 games at once and finds the patterns *across* them. Two different jobs.
